Blueface has been dealing with legal troubles for the previous few months.
For example, he was detained in January for violating his probation. Overall, there was a sense that Blue would return home in July. However, this has not been the case. Instead, he was just sentenced to four years in prison. One would think that this means he will only return in 2027 or 2028. In a recent interview, Blueface stated that the timeline is far more optimistic.
The artist conducted an exclusive prison phone interview with DJ Hed and Gina Views for the show Effective Immediately. During the conversation, Blueface discussed his punishment and the circumstances of it. Essentially, he is receiving time served. Furthermore, he only needs to serve roughly one-third of his total sentence. When he broke it down, it became clear that he would be returning home in less than one year.

“So I was condemned to four years. I have a year’s credit, which reduces to three years, and I need to complete 33% of it. [So I’ll be home] possibly in March or April [2025],” Blueface stated. Chrisean Rock is currently facing narcotics charges, and it’s unclear what will happen next. If convicted, she faces up to eight years in prison. Needless to say, this has been a trying period for that family.
