Comedian Chris Tucker has already explained why he has not been in any of the Friday sequels, despite the fact that the film’s creator, Ice Cube, claims he offered Tucker $12 million to appear in a prospective sequel.
Tucker chatted with Big Tigger on V-102 FM in Atlanta about the hurdles he would face if he participated in another Friday sequel.

Tuckwer said that shooting a new Friday is difficult due to the studios and producers, saying, “It’s studios, and they’ve got to want to do it, and then it’s uh producers and all that stuff,” adding, “It’s a lot, it’s a lot that goes with it.” Tucker mentioned wanted to be in an environment where he could create while on set, since that mindset produced many of the best moments in the first ‘Friday’ film.
