According to a recent tweet, Young Thug referred to Fulton County Investigator Marissa Viverito as the “biggest liar in the DA office.”

Only a few months have passed since Young Thug’s release from jail. But now his freedom is in jeopardy once more. The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office filed a new motion Monday (April 2) asking for the revocation of his probation. The rapper was given a sentence of 40 years, five of which were to be served in prison and five of which were to be converted to time served once he accepted a plea agreement in October 2024. Accordingly, he would serve 15 years on probation, with the remaining 20 years to be commuted upon satisfactory completion.

Young Thug’s “continued presence in the community under probationary supervision presents a clear and present danger to public safety and undermines the rule of law,” according to the state’s amended motion. Some of his social media activities is specifically mentioned in the filing. This contains a purported tweet regarding Marissa Viverito, an investigator with the Atlanta Police Department. He is accused of posting a picture of Viverito on the platform earlier this week with the phrase, “Biggest liar in the DA office.”

Additionally, he allegedly retweeted a tweet from a fan account that included multiple additional Viverito photos. With the caption, “All my homies hate Viverito,” Young Thug “has shown a blatant disregard for the law, the safety of witnesses, and the integrity of judicial proceedings,” according to the state. According to the complaint, the performer’s post caused the addresses of Viverito and her parents to be shared online. According to reports, one post included a picture of Viverito’s mother’s home along with the words, “Pull up on her mama crib if the hate is real.” Another tweet allegedly threatened District Attorney Fani Willis’s life.
