The Eagles are setting the tone for the upcoming benefit concert for Los Angeles wildfire victims with a big first donation of more than seven figures.
According to TMZ, the iconic rock band will make a $2.5 million donation.
It’s unclear whether the Eagles’ large donation implies they’ll be singing at the FireAid benefit event later this month.
As we previously stated, there has been an incredible reaction from musicians eager to participate, with over 50 bands and performers expressing interest. There are now just 24 slots available, but organizers are working to expand to accommodate more artists.

We’ve been told that the artists will be from Los Angeles… and it’s worth recalling that the Eagles founded in L.A. in the 1970s, and one of their most famous songs is “Hotel California.”
