However, a recent revelation says that Harvey Weinstein is now battling a rare type of leukemia. It is classed as chronic myeloid leukemia, and around 200,000 individuals are diagnosed with it each year.
However, it is typical among people of the disgraced Hollywood figure’s age group. CML is defined as “a type of white blood cell cancer caused by an acquired genetic defect.” This causes bone discomfort, fever, night sweats, excessive bleeding, exhaustion, and weight loss.” Weinstein’s agent, Juda Engelmayer, and his attorney, Arthur Aidala, voiced their displeasure with the media coverage and conjecture around the announcement.
