A terrifying picture has unfolded in Colorado, where residents believe members of a ruthless Venezuelan gang are taking over entire apartment complexes, with video footage revealing the men are heavily armed.

A new video from an Aurora apartment complex shows six men strolling the halls, mounting a stairway, and banging on a unit’s front door… with five of them packing heat.

One of the men is openly carrying what appears to be an assault rifle (look at the large scope on the pistol), while the other four are wandering around with handguns.

There have been numerous allegations of problems with a Venezuelan gang, Tren de Aragua, in Denver and now Aurora… formerly a peaceful suburb.

Dani Jurinsky, an Aurora City Council member, reports that a gang has taken over many residential complexes in town.

The video is going popular on social media, and it appears to have landed on the Denver Police Department’s radar… since officials issued a statement Wednesday saying the agency “takes the presence of Tren de Aragua seriously.”

Denver Police Department said there are reasons to assume gang members are involved in crimes in the area, but they are not aware of any apartment complexes being “taken over” by this gang in Denver, despite the fact that the video is officially from Aurora.

Whatever is going on, the optics are pretty terrible, to say the least. 🤷🏽‍♂️
