Adam Sandler claims his family was rooting for Taylor Swift’s romance with Travis Kelce from the beginning.

During Sandler’s presence on Kelce and his brother Jason Kelce’s podcast, New Heights, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end claimed that the actor took his daughters to see Swift’s Eras Tour concert film in Los Angeles.

“By the way, what a girl, what a girl,” Sandler remarked as Kelce smiled. “Dude, she means so much to our house.” Sandler revealed that his girls have been Swift fans since they were “little,” and that he too immediately became a fan.

“Taylor, in our house, [my kids] knew every tune, they knew every word,” Sandler continued, “I enjoy listening to her in the car. I like what she had to say; every word, every melody, the production, how cool she was, what she meant to young girls, women, and men doing the right thing in life.”

He recalls how excited his family was when Kelce and Swift first started dating. “My God, did my family say, ‘Yes! Look how great they are together. “Look how he’s a gentleman, and she’s having so much fun with him,” he exclaimed. “Like, anytime Taylor’s laughing with you, my whole fucking family is like high-fiving.”

“Very good, guy. “You’ve got me sweating over here,” Kelce replied.

Sandler also said that when asked which celebs he feels anxious around, he says Swift because he doesn’t want to “blow it for [his] kids and say something stupid.”

The comedic legend’s support for the NFL star extends beyond his relationship with Swift. He recently stated that Kelce will appear in the much-anticipated Happy Gilmore sequel. Sandler discussed Kelce’s role in the film in greater detail on the podcast. “Travis, we’re gonna have fun because the scene you’re doing is with so many great golfers,” the actor said. “It’s going to be incredible.” You’re going to be hilarious as hell.”
