Zac Efron has spoken out following his hospitalization for a swimming incident in Ibiza.
The 36-year-old actor from “Dirty Grandpa” sent a message on Instagram Stories on Sunday, accompanied with a photo of himself exercising shirtless.
Efron pulled weights in his bathing suit while lying on a pink workout ball.
His pal Caleb Davidge also posted a selfie of the two in the same place. Davidge added two weightlifting emojis to the image.
Over the weekend, it was reported that Efron had a “minor swimming incident” at an Ibiza property on Friday.

TMZ stated that the “High School Musical” alum was discovered inside the pool by two villa employees and sent to the hospital “as a precautionary measure.”
Efron’s representative told People that the actor was released from the hospital on Saturday morning.
A few days before the incident, Efron was observed onstage during DJ Martin Garrix’s performance at the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel.
On July 26, he attended the opening ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics.
The “Iron Claw” star expressed his support for Simone Biles after the US women’s gymnastics team won gold last week.
“So incredibly proud of you, @simonebiles,” he posted on Instagram.
The then-19-year-old gymnast was a big fan of Efron and was surprised when they met.
“Just call me mrs.efron already,” Biles posted beside a photo of Efron kissing her cheek.
While Biles is now married to NFL player Jonathan Owens (29), Efron appears to be single at the moment.
After less than a year of dating, the “Greatest Showman” singer ended things with his Australian girlfriend Vanessa Valladares in 2021.
He supposedly met Valladares in June 2020, when she was working at the Byron Bay General Store in New South Wales, Australia.
According to the Daily Mail, Valladares abandoned her job to devote more time to Efron.
While they were dating, Valladares surprised Efron with a birthday party in her home country.
Efron has lived in Australia since the COVID-19 outbreak began. He sold his longstanding Los Feliz, California house for $5.3 million in 2021 and is presently starring in Netflix’s “A Family Affair” with Nicole Kidman and Joey King.
