As shown in this sample sequence, you may now “Save Music” directly from the Shorts UI, which will add the music to your chosen sounds folder.

Until now, artists had to employ a workaround to store Shorts music, but YouTube is now working to make it easier for consumers to interact with music snippets obtained from Shorts content.

This could help to increase music discovery while also giving creators another chance to come up with their own takes based on auditory cues.

Music has been a significant component of TikTok’s popularity, so it seems to reason that YouTube should capitalize on this as well. YouTube also introduced music remix possibilities for Shorts earlier this year.

In addition, YouTube Studio’s “Inspiration” tab will now provide recommendations in three new languages.

The Inspiration tab, which was previously known as the “Research” tab, can now provide AI content tips. Creators can enter a topic into the search bar, prompting YouTube’s AI system to provide ideas and notes based on what your channel’s viewers are likely to be interested in.

If you’re stumped on what to post next, it’ll even provide you with a bullet-point video template to help you get started.

YouTube is also releasing a new desktop extension for producers in the YouTube shopping affiliate program that will allow them to save products and compare commission rates while browsing on Chrome, adding another tool to support product listings in YouTube clips.

Finally, YouTube has added new resources to its Help Center under the “Creator Tips” category.

YouTube Creator Guides
YouTube’s Creator Tips section contains a variety of tips and recommendations on different elements of YouTube channel management. The app now includes additional material about creation, discovery, and how to generate money.

It may be worth considering for those looking for new strategies to boost their YouTube visibility.
