The actor appeared on the BBC with novelist China Miéville to promote their new novel, “The Book of Elsewhere,” which follows an immortal figure who wishes to die — which explains why the grim issue was brought up in the first place.
As Keanu put it, at the age of 59, he’s “thinking about death all the time,” especially because he defined himself as “young-old.”
For others who were concerned about his preoccupation with death, KR defended it as a positive thing.
