One industry expert wonders why Beyoncé hasn’t made more public appearances to promote “Cowboy Carter.”

According to a music industry insider who spoke with Page Six, Beyonce and JAY-Z should make more public appearances right now. Despite the fact that Beyonce’s ambitious eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter, was released just over two months ago, the famous singer has kept a low profile in recent weeks. The couple’s lack of attention comes after CNN released video of Diddy hitting Cassie at a hotel in 2016, last month. They’ve maintained a public acquaintance with the Bad Boy entrepreneur over the years, but there’s no evidence linking JAY or Beyonce to any of the wrongdoing charges against Diddy. According to Page Six, the two could be keeping a low profile to prevent negative press.

“This was meant to be Beyonce’s turn, as her much-anticipated country album was released [just] two months ago. And yet, she is nowhere to be seen. “The album is slipping, and Jay and B aren’t reveling in the spotlight,” according to one source who was described as “shocked” by the site. “About a month before the [March 29] release, Jay-Z spoke up at the Grammys, complaining that Beyoncé had never won Album of the Year. But now what? Does he think she will win for ‘Cowboy Carter’ despite no promotion, appearances, or wooing of the academy?

The insider also stated that, while the album isn’t a flop, “it’s definitely not the juggernaut everyone thought it would be.” They said, “Something is going on. It debuted with a boom. Number one everywhere. [Now] it and she are vanished.” Beyoncé released Cowboy Carter on March 29, 2024. It debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200 and several other foreign charts.
