Cam’ron, a sports broadcaster and former Roc-A-Fella rapper, came on CNN yesterday (May 20) for an interview on the terrible 2016 video of Diddy abusing Cassie at the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, and to say the interview did not go as planned is an understatement.

Abby Phillip of Newsnight did not waste time querying the Dipset founder about Diddy and whether or not Cam noticed the man in the surveillance video, to which Cam quickly said, “I don’t know him like that. What do you mean? Did I recognize him? I saw him. What do you mean by “my experiences?” The discussion took an unexpected turn when Phillip asked Cam about the Bad Boy mogul’s awful apology video, in which Diddy apologized for his conduct but did not apologize directly to Cassie because their settlement prohibits him from mentioning Cassie’s name in public.

Cam, irritated, answered to Phillip, “The apology is not for me to decide; it is for Cassie. He hasn’t done anything for me. What I think doesn’t matter.” In the midst of their discussion, Cam downs a shot of PinkHorsePower, a sexual enhancement drink famous in NYC bodegas, bragging boldly that he will get “some cheeks” after downing the shot.

Phillip didn’t help matters when she inquired if the rap business protected Diddy from being held accountable for his horrible deeds. In the most embarrassing moment for the network, Cam inquired, “Who booked me for this joint?”
