Moroccan-born, Bronx-raised rapper French Montana is a three-time Grammy Award nominee, Diamond-certified musician, humanitarian influencer, and philanthropist. He is Global Citizen’s first rap ambassador, actively working to improve global health care in Uganda.

French Montana’s fusion of classic East Coast lyrics, wavy pop swagger, and international ambition has catapulted him to the global spotlight. French’s Cocaine City brand, which began with a series of DVDs in 2002, has since grown into an independent empire.
Excuse My French, his Platinum-certified debut studio album, was released in 2013 and debuted at number one on the Hip-Hop and R&B albums charts. In 2017, his second studio album, Jungle Rules, reached No. 3 on the Billboard charts and was certified Platinum.

The album’s main hit, “Unforgettable” featuring Swae Lee, prompted an international dance challenge, prompting French to collaborate with Mama Hope and Global Citizen to rehabilitate one of their hospitals in Uganda.
