Whoopi Goldberg, moderator of The View, unexpectedly halted the panel’s Hot Topics discussion today to chastise an audience member who appeared to be filming the proceedings on a cellphone.

The four co-hosts, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin, sat stunned and astonished by the interruption, which occurred during a discussion of Donald Trump’s newest legal issues. “What was he doing?” Behar questioned gently, and Haines replied, “Recording.”

The videotaping scofflaw was never captured on camera. The audience cheered Goldberg’s actions.

Later, during the Hot Topics segment, Goldberg sounded agitated once more when a producer allegedly indicated her to pause a debate to allow Hostin, the show’s legal expert, to read a legal note stating that Trump had denied any wrongdoing. “I’m going to get to her,” the irritated Goldberg declared. “My God, people, I am going to get to her. “May I finish my point, or do you want me to jump now?”

Behar chuckled and said, “Whoopi is not in the mood today for your shenanigans!”
