Next week, actor Eugene Levy will be honored with a Hollywood Walk of Fame star.

Levy will receive his Television star on Friday, March 8, at 11:30 a.m. at 7080 Hollywood Boulevard. Emcee Steve Nissen will join him as a speaker, as will actors Catherine O’Hara and Sarah Levy.

“We are very excited to welcome Eugene Levy to the Hollywood Walk of Fame,” said Ana Martinez, the Walk of Fame’s producer.”His professionalism and genuine passion for his work have garnered him the respect and admiration of his peers, and of course his millions of fans!”

Levy’s most recent endeavor is “The Reluctant Traveler With Eugene Levy” on Apple TV+. He is the host and executive producer of a non-scripted series about his travels to famous destinations, where he makes friends and discovers local hidden gems. The series is presently on its second season, which will air on March 8.

The comedic hit “Schitt’s Creek” earned him two Emmys: Best Actor in a comedic Series and Best Comedy Series. His son, Daniel Levy, co-created the six-season series, which premiered on CBC Television in 2015.

Levy’s career began on the set of Second City Television, a Canadian sketch comedy series that aired from 1976 until 1984. SCT starred stars such as John Candy, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Short, and others. His humorous reputation stemmed from box office triumphs such the “American Pie” franchise, “Bringing Down The House,” “Cheaper By the Dozen,” and “Father Of The Bride II.”
