Apple TV is launching its second season of MLS Season Pass.

Apple and Major League Soccer signed a 10-year contract in 2022, which also happened to be the year Lionel Messi joined MLS club Inter Miami CF.

Celebrating the return of soccer with MLS Is Back Week, which begins on Wednesday at 8 p.m. (ET) with Messi and Miami facing Real Salt Lake. Pre-match programming kicks off at 6:30 p.m. with a special 90-minute edition of MLS Countdown/MLS La Previa.

Apple has improved its interface, making it easier for Apple TV customers to know when games are planned and where they can discover their favorite teams.

“We’re thrilled to kick off the 2024 season and build upon this game-changing partnership, which is bringing Major League Soccer to its largest global audience ever while showcasing the next-level athleticism and electric fandom of the league,” Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of services, said.

Fans will also be able to see 2023 MLS playoff highlights on Apple Vision Pro, which features 8K 3D video and spatial audio.

Apple Podcasts will feature many soccer-related episodes, including Offside With Taylor Twellman.

Messi has created a playlist of songs he listens to before matches for Apple Music. “For as long as I can remember, music has played an important part in my life, especially on match days,” he remarked. “Music quiets my mind, helps me stay calm and relaxed.”

MLS Season Pass for Apple TV is available in over 100 countries and allows fans to watch every MLS game with no blackouts.

The package costs $14.99 per month, or $99 for the season. Season Pass is available at a discount to Apple TV Plus customers for $12.99 per month or $79 per season.
