Parma PD informs TMZ… Kagney Linn Karter’s mother called in to report the suicide, and we’re told there was a letter left at the residence where it happened — though authorities say they don’t know what it said.
We’re told there’s no evidence of foul play, and no narcotics were discovered at the scene. It’s unclear who owned the shotgun that was used.
Kagney Linn Karter’s suicide was as awful as one could imagine, with a self-inflicted gunshot wound from one of the most powerful rifles available.

According to Cuyahoga County officials, the former porn star committed herself last week, with her official cause of death reported as an intraoral shotgun wound. In layman’s terms, she placed a shotgun in her mouth and pulled the trigger.
There are no more information about her death at this time, but the Parma Police Department is investigating.
The horrifying update is undoubtedly heartbreaking for her loved ones and admirers, and it appears to have come out of nowhere, especially given that she had uploaded a pleasant snapshot from a beach in Florida just a few days before the event.

Of course, since leaving the porn business, Kagney had relocated to Ohio, where she founded a pole dancing studio and made connections with other members of the community.
Her friends set up a GoFundMe page for her mother, who is arranging burial arrangements.
According to the GFM description, Kagney’s inner circle believes she has fought mental health concerns for years, which her immediate family has not commented on or corroborated. If true, it would help to explain the catastrophe. On the surface, she appeared to be doing well.
On a sadder note, word of Kagney’s suicide arrives on a significant date. Kurt Cobain, who died by suicide under similar circumstances, would have turned 57 on Tuesday. Kurt committed suicide and used a shotgun to the head.
A bogus autopsy report leaked last month, purporting to provide the whole gory details of Kurt’s death scene. We have not been able to confirm its veracity, but it appears to be real.
In any event, it’s heartbreaking to learn and marks another high-profile suicide.
