A&E’s new documentary series, which will premiere in February, will center on iconic entertainer James Brown.

According to A&E, the two-night documentary James Brown: Say It Loud will premiere on February 19 and 20. It will investigate Brown’s unique and impactful life through interviews, never-before-seen archival footage, and his music catalog.

The series, executive produced by Mick Jagger and Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, follows Brown’s life and career from a 7th grade dropout to an entertainment legend whose pioneering talent and distinctive perspective propelled him to cultural prominence, according to the network. The documentary includes interviews with Bootsy Collins, LL Cool J, The Rev. Al Sharpton, Chuck D, Dallas Austin, Jimmy Jam, and Terry Lewis.

Tariq Trotter, Peter Afterman, David Blackman, Victoria Pearman, Bruce Resnikoff, Shawn Gee, Zarah Zohlman, Charlie Cohen, and Mari Keiko Gonzalez all serve as executive producers for James Brown: Say It Loud, in addition to Jagger and Thompson.
