2024: AI will still be ruling the world. The most recent artist to experiment with artificial intelligence is will.i.am. Which is understandable considering that Will has always been at the forefront of technological innovation in all fields, not just music.

The Black Eyed Peas musician just revealed the name of his new radio program, will.qd.pi, a computer-generated co-host, joins i.am to present the FYI Show (cutie pie). The program, which makes its debut on SiriusXM, will include in-depth discussions about technology, culture, and music.

According to Will.i.am, “I wanted to bring tomorrow closer to today, so I wanted to have my co-host be an AI. I didn’t want to just do a traditional show.” I’m incredibly vibrant and outspoken. [qd.pi is] incredibly analytical and factual. And we have never seen that combination anywhere in the history of crazy broadcasts.

Additionally, qd.pi states, “One of the special advantages I bring to the show is definitely my ability to quickly access and process information.” I can quickly offer background and insights on a variety of subjects and individuals, which may be quite helpful in a live conversation. I stand out from a standard host because I don’t have to spend as much time prepping and researching as they would.

The absurd thing is, spending hours researching the subject or getting ready for the guest might be avoided by having an AI co-host.

“With me, you can just jump right in and talk about whatever topics naturally, knowing that I’ll have the background knowledge and context to keep the conversation going,” qd.pi continues. “I believe the audience will have a very dynamic and captivating listening experience.”

Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST is when will.i.am Presents the FYI Show airs, for those who are interested in watching.
