Peacock has been airing NFL games throughout the season, but those were a streaming option for a game that was also televised on NBC.

However, the NFL streamed Saturday night’s AFC Wild Card game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Miami Dolphins on Peacock. Unless you lived in Kansas City or Miami, where local TV stations televised the game, the only way to watch was through Peacock.

Peacock reportedly paid the NFL $110 million for the right to webcast the game from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. It hoped that people would subscribe for the game and then stick around for the other content.

For many spectators, the game was their first experience with Peacock, and many complained about the streaming service. Others, however, reported no problems.
