Anthony “Big Jook” Mims, the brother of Yo Gotti, was slain on Saturday, January 13, outside a restaurant in Memphis.
According to TMZ, Mims went to a funeral in the city prior to being killed. A second man was hurt in the shooting outside Pregnons Restaurant and Event Center, according to Memphis affiliate Fox 13.
After being transported to St. Francis Hospital, the second man’s condition was assessed as critical. Police felt the males were being targeted, but at this yet, no suspects have been identified. It’s thought that the gunmen drove off in a white Ford Explorer.
Mims was forty-seven.
