In a recent statement regarding the split, Nike thanked Tiger Woods for all of his years as a partner.

“You challenged your competition, stereotypes, conventions, and the old school way of thinking,” the Swoosh stated in an Instagram post titled “Tiger.” Issuing a challenge to the entire game of golf. You put us to the test. Above all, you yourself. And we are appreciative of that challenge.”
