Nicki Minaj has consistently been a significant partner. She has encountered practically all of the top names in rap music during her career.

That was once more the case with Pink Friday 2, her most recent album, which was released earlier this month. Throughout the project, Drake, J. Cole, Future, Lil Wayne, Lil Uzi Vert, and more make appearances. Many drew attention to the fact that Nicki chose to trash other rappers like Latto and Megan Thee Stallion in the album’s lyrics rather than collaborate with any of her notable female rap peers.

However, she might soon be collaborating with some well-known female celebrities on projects other than rap music. The initial one was a formal hint from Nicki herself. A video of Rihanna dancing to Nicki’s new single “FTCU” at her Fenty event surfaced online earlier this week. Nicki must have saw the video going viral and responded with a post that has fans giddy with anticipation. “Until Queen Rih delivers her vocals, the entire gag city deluxe won’t be released. POW,” she jokingly said. Two more tracks were added to Pink Friday 2’s deluxe edition just one week after the album’s release. However, she clarified with this latest news that there will be more shortly, and Rihanna will probably be among them. See her remarks below.

In an interview, Nicki also mentioned how much she would love to work with Taylor Swift in the future. Her response to the question of whether she would collaborate on a song with the “Cruel Summer” hitmaker was “in a heart beat.” On the charts, Pink Friday 2 has likewise been an enormous hit. With almost two hundred thousand copies sold in its first week, the album peaked at number one on the Billboard 200. This week, it also had 14 songs listed in the Hot 100. Given that Christmas music makes up the majority of the chart’s Top 50 tracks during this time of year, that second accomplishment is very noteworthy.

In addition, Nicki Minaj set a record on the Hot Gospel Songs list. Her brand-new single “Blessings” shot to the top of the charts right away, becoming her first-ever number one.
