Jennifer Lopez’s next album will be described as a “musical experience.”

The ‘Jenny From The Block’ star is set to release ‘This Is Me… Now’ next year, and she’s disclosed additional details about the album in a teaser video uploaded on her website, which includes footage of Jennifer dancing in the rain and riding a motorcycle.

She captioned the video: “This musical experience is a manifestation through music, film, and reality, of life’s journey on the search for truth about love.”

‘This Is Me… Now’ is the follow-up to her 2003 album ‘This Is Me… Then,’ which was inspired by and dedicated to her boyfriend Ben Affleck. The couple called it quits a year after the album’s release, but they reconnected over two decades later and married in 2022.

The second album is similarly dedicated to Affleck and delves into their rekindled passion when they reconciled.

“We captured me at this moment in time when I was reunited with the love of my life and we decided we were going to be together forever,” she revealed to Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 last year. The album’s overall message is, “This love exists.” This is true love.’ Now, I believe the album’s message is very much if you have, like me, lost hope, almost given up, don’t, because true love does exist and certain things do last forever and that’s real.”

The singer confessed that it was difficult to expose her sensitive side in her new songs, but she is glad she was open and honest about it. Jennifer said, “I want to spread that message [of true love], and that requires a lot of vulnerability.” But I couldn’t stop myself, and some of it makes me nervous. And I believe portions of it frighten Ben as well. ‘Oh, do you really want to say all this stuff?’ he asks. ‘I don’t know how else to do it, darling,’ I say.

Jennifer also mentioned that her husband enjoys the first album, saying, “He loves that album.” He enjoys that type of music. He understands every word. You understand what I mean? It’s insane. He was also present when I was developing it.”
