It has been verified by Google AdWords that the Location asset requirements will be updated in December.

The kinds of location assets that are prohibited on Google Ads will be made clearer in the upgrade.

The following locations won’t be accepted as location assets:

The places that are closed
locations that Google does not recognize Locations that are unrelated to the company running the advertisement
assets that don’t fit the given location in terms of goods or services.
