While many of us are eager to watch Christmas movies for free, one company is willing to pay a reasonable wage to have it done for them.

There are a plethora of wonderful films to see this holiday season, ranging from Elf and Love Actually to Klaus and Home Alone.

And CableTV merely wants you to view 25 of them over the course of 25 days.

In exchange, the company will pay you $2,500 and provide you with yearly subscriptions to seven of the major streaming sites so you may watch people’s holiday favorites.

You’ll get Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Amazon Prime, Max, Apple TV+, and Hallmark Movies Now subscriptions.

The official job title is ‘Chief of Cheer,’ which sounds perfect for Buddy the Elf.

After watching the flicks, CableTV wants the lucky winner to rate them based on nostalgia, uplifting storyline, and overall holiday cheer.

In addition, the organization wants to know which streaming platforms are the most user-friendly, have a good collection of Christmas films, and whether you have any problems while watching movies.

But, I hear you question, what movies are you supposed to watch?

The decision is entirely yours! If you’re stuck for ideas, CableTV gives a few suggestions on its website to assist you get started.

You must be over the age of 18 and a US resident to apply for the position of Chief of Cheer.

“The only requirement is that you have a deep love for holiday movies, a song in your heart, and the willpower to marathon 25 movies in 25 days,” the cable channel’s website states.

On December 5, the winner will be notified by email.

If the company is unable to contact you, it will choose someone else instead – so keep a watch on your emails that day!

The company wanted someone to help ‘evaluate the vehicle damage across all ten movies,’ and I’m sure the sum was in the millions.
