Joyner Lucas, a hip-hop artist nominated for a Grammy, has released a new song called “24 Hours to Live.” It’s a great addition to his upcoming album, Not Now, I’m Busy.
This song by Joyner Lucas is about a man who has only one day to live. It makes you think. He describes exactly what he would do in his last moments in songs like “take all his sh*t and then steal his identity” and “slap any hater that showed any jealousy.”
He rides the beat while thinking about what other people might do in the same situation as the song goes on. In his own unique way, he asks, “Would it drive you crazy?” “Kill every jerk you have a grudge against?” At the end of the track, there is audio of a doctor giving the same bad news, but it turns out to be a mistake, which adds a bit of humor.
