The last time Kanye West tried to release an album, the process was nothing short of chaotic.

Of course, by this point, the rapper’s fans have grown accustomed to regular postponements and cancellations from their favorite musician, who has been hinting at something in the works for the past few months. He and Ty Dolla Sign were supposedly planned a major show in Italy, but it was canceled earlier this week. In the midst of it, word has arisen that West is having difficulty finding a distributor for his forthcoming LP.

Despite the controversy surrounding his remarks about the Jewish community, the 46-year-old still has pals who are willing to stand up for him. Among them is Rick Ross, who has publicly stated his desire to sign West to his Maybach Music Group label. “Imagine if Ye came and allowed MMG to distribute his new project,” thought the “Purple Lamborghini” hitmaker.

“Think about it. Which Rick Ross-Ye collaboration is your favorite? Consider that. Consider the artistic urge. And I came up with some fantastic concepts for the Yeezy brand. Fantastic concepts for the Yeezy brand! “Let’s talk,” Ross remarked in an Instagram Story video earlier this week. According to the Southern superstar, he and West have released several fantastic collaborations over the years, including “Devil in a New Dress” and “Monster” from the fashion designer’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy LP.

Given all of the turmoil that Kanye West has been embroiled in throughout his career, we’re not surprised that he’s having trouble finding a willing distributor for his new record, no matter how anticipated it is.
