John Cena, a famous WWE star, said he was wrong to be angry about The Rock’s move to Hollywood.

It’s safe to say that Dwayne Johnson has made a name for himself in Hollywood since he quit WWE in 2004 to become an actor.

Still, a lot of people, including John Cena, were upset that The Rock quit wrestling.

This caused them to fight for years, and Cena has since admitted that Johnson’s choice to leave WWE for a better paying job in Hollywood made things worse.

Cena did say earlier this year that he was “selfish” during the fight and that he was “short-sighted” all those years ago.

Without a doubt, the 46-year-old has recently made the same choice as Johnson: he left WWE to become an actor.

Variety says that Cena recently told the press that he “100% sees and understands” why people call him a liar and call him out for doing what Johnson did even though he has criticized doing that in the past.

Cena first talked about the long-running feud at a press conference for WWE Fastlane. “If you’ve been following what I’ve tried to do, especially recently, in public and personally with Dwayne Johnson, I’ve said that even though I thought I was trying to do what’s best for business,” he said.

“I did it the wrong way.” I broke his trust by making claims about his point of view that I had no evidence for.

“And I was a fan in my heart.” I wished The Rock would come back to WWE. There was something I did wrong when I tried to get The Rock back.

“I didn’t do it the right way, so I had to eat a little crow,” Cena said. I had to say, “I’m sorry, I was wrong,” because I am sorry, I was wrong, and seeing that makes me feel very humble.

“Dwayne is a great guy…” It made me into someone I hated. I can see and understand that point of view. When I got into a fight with The Rock, I learned a lot.

Even though he may have done the same thing, Cena’s Hollywood future is on hold right now because of the SAG-AFTRA writers’ strike.

In order to pass the time, the WWE star has chosen to go back to his roots for the Fastlane show.

He won’t be back in old territory for long, though, because Cena has said he’ll go back to Hollywood once the strikes are over.

“I made it perfectly clear you can’t do both because of the liability insurance,” he told the media.

“If I were trying to juggle both that’s very selfish because I’d put a whole lot of people in the movie business out of work if something happened to me.”
