Lil Tay has been seen out in public for the first time since an Instagram post alleging her death.

Lil Tay originally gained attention when she was around nine years old, when she took to social media to boast about her fortune.

In August of this year, a post on the 16-year-old internet sensation and rapper’s Instagram account claimed she’d died.

TMZ later posted a message from the singer reassuring fans that she was’safe and alive,’ with the Instagram post reportedly the product of a hack.

“It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of our beloved Claire’s sudden and tragic passing,” the Instagram post said.

“There are no words to describe our unbearable loss and indescribable pain.” This result was completely unexpected and has left us all stunned. Her brother’s death adds an unbelievable depth to our pain.

“We kindly ask for privacy during this time of immense sorrow as we grieve this overwhelming loss, as the circumstances surrounding Claire and her brother’s deaths are still under investigation.”

“Claire will forever remain in our hearts, her absence leaving an irreplacable void that will be felt by all who knew and loved her.”

In a statement released by TMZ, Lil Tay stated that she and her brother were safe and alive, but that she was “completely heartbroken” and “struggling to even find the right words to say.”

Lil Tay’s former manager has cast his doubts over claims that the rapper’s Instagram was hacked after the bizarre death hoax. Fans became concerned after a statement appeared on Tay’s instagram, announcing that her and her brother had died. But she confirmed that they were both was ‘safe and alive’ in a statement through TMZ. Her former manager, Harry Tsung believes she was attempting to ‘illicitly extract funds’ from devoted fans and would be an ‘irresponsible’ decision if it was done to rekindle’ her career. #metrouknews #newstok #entertainment #entertainmenttok #liltay #liltayfyp #liltayhoax #liltayy #lil #tay #hoax #taytian #clairehope #clairehopeakaliltay #vinetok #fyp #newsfyp #americannews #usnews #uknews #socialmedianews

“It’s been a very traumatizing 24 hours,” the 16-year-old stated. I was plagued with sorrowful and tearful phone calls from loved ones all day yesterday, all while attempting to straighten out this mess.

“A third party compromised my Instagram account and used it to spread shocking misinformation and rumors about me, to the point where even my name was incorrect.” Tay Tian is my legal name, not Claire Hope.”

And, for the first time in years, the internet personality has been seen in public since the August catastrophe.

Lil Tay was spotted by paparazzi at LAX airport on Wednesday (September 27).

According to a post by the mother’s lawyers uploaded on Lil Tay’s Instagram on 18 August, Lil Tay was allegedly compelled to move to Vancouver after her father received a court order in 2018. However, her mother later won a custody fight and Lil Tay’s primary residence is now with her.

The 16-year-old was photographed wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up, a black face mask, and sunglasses.

Even when asked about the prank, she refused to answer any questions from reporters.
