The death of his father was oddly foretold in a story told by Hollywood star Matthew McConaughey.

The star from “The Dallas Buyers’ Club” said that his late father James had known exactly how he would die.

In an interview with People in 2020, before the release of his book, McConaughey talked about how he got the sad news from his mother that his father had died, just as he had said he would years before.

“My mom called me and said, ‘Your dad died.'” My knees gave out. It made no sense to me. I called him dad. “No one or nothing could kill him,” Mitchell said.

The main character of True Detective said that his dad James thought he would die while making love to his mom, and that’s exactly what happened.

“He always told my brothers and me, ‘Boys, when I go, I’m going to make love to your mom.'”

“That’s what took place. He had a heart attack when he hit his peak.

The star from Interstellar also talked about his parents’ relationship. He said it was “violent” at times and compared it to the Pacific Ocean during a storm.

“They were rough at times.” “That’s how they talked, as I say in the book,” McConaughey said.

“They got divorced twice and got married three times. It was like the Pacific Ocean in a storm in there.”

When talking about predictions, McConaughey said that he accepted the part of Benjamin Barry in the cult romance How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days after meeting an unknown “fortune teller guru” in Los Angeles. He played the part opposite Kate Hudson.

“One night I was walking down Sunset Boulevard in the Los Angeles area, thinking about whether I should do it or not. Suddenly, this guy appeared out of nowhere and asked, ‘Can I tell you your fortune real quick?'” “Yeah, man,” I said. Sure.'”

McConaughey then said that the “guru” knew things about him that he couldn’t have known, which made him wonder if the studio had sent him to make him take the part.

“Right away, he says, “There’s a movie you’re thinking about right now. It’s a love story comedy. It will be one of the worst things you ever do if you don’t do this. “It’s going to be cool, and it’s going to make a lot of money,” the star said.

Stranger was a big part of getting McConaughey to sign on the dotted line for one of the most famous rom-coms of the 2000s, even though he still doesn’t know who that man was.
