Kathy Griffin takes “comfort” in the fact that Russell Brand has “a price to pay” for years of alleged terrible behavior.

After many women accused the “Get Him To The Greek” actor, 48, of rape and sexual misconduct, the comic, 62, tweeted an unsettling PSA, alleging that “there’s so many more coming.”

“I am actually excited about the news about Russell Brand getting out,” Griffin stated in an Instagram video posted on Sunday.

“It has taken forever to catch up with that sleaze bag.”

Griffin went on to say that Brand once grabbed one of her friends who approached him at an AA meeting.

“She went up to shake his hand… “He got in her face and pressed his groin against hers,” she claimed.

A representative for Brand, who has previously rejected all allegations leveled against him, did not immediately respond to our request for comment.

“You don’t hear this s-t about Dame Judi Dench,” Griffin said, referring to the double standard that exists between male and female comedians.

“You don’t hear that Julianne Moore is sexually assaulting somebody,” she said.

Rather, women in the comedy industry are frequently labeled “difficult,” “bitchy,” or “bossy,” according to the former “My Life on the D-List” star.

“In the female comedy world, it is constantly an uphill battle,” she stated.

“It gives me a little comfort when guys like Russell Brand finally have some price to pay,” she said, adding that his success was “ridiculous” in “light of this behavior.”

Amy Schumer, star of “Trainwreck,” instantly stepped into the post’s comments area.

“I adore you!” “I hope to earn as much as the rapists and transphobes in the game someday,” she began.

“It’s also like a part of my story that I’ve taken jokes from other comics and I’ve never done that in my life, not even once.” We must simply fight for ourselves.”

The video comes only one week after four women accused Katy Perry’s ex-husband of several events ranging from rape and sexual assault to emotional abuse in a shocking Sunday Times exposé.

The alleged instances occurred between 2006 and 2013, at the peak of his career.

According to one of Brand’s unnamed victims, he assaulted her “against a wall” at his Los Angeles home in 2012. She informed the outlet that the next day she went to a rape center.

Another victim alleged Brand was “emotionally abusive and controlling” to her when she was 16 and he was in his 30s.

Before the exposé was released, the “Forgetting Sarah Marshall” actor angrily disputed all of the “extremely disturbing” allegations.

“The relationships that I had were absolutely always consensual,” he stated.

“I received two extremely disturbing letters, or a letter and an email, one from a mainstream media TV company and one from a newspaper, both of which listed a litany of egregious and aggressive attacks.” “Among this litany of astonishing, rather baroque attacks are some very serious allegations that I categorically refute,” he stated in an Instagram video broadcast earlier this month.

“I was very, very promiscuous when I was in the movies, as I’ve written about extensively in my books.” “During that period of promiscuity, the relationships I had were always completely consensual,” he stated.

“[There are] witnesses whose evidence directly contradicts the narratives that these two mainstream media outlets are trying to construct, apparently, in what seems to me to be a coordinated attack.”
