Kim Kardashian is supposedly dating a new man. According to insiders close to the reality star, the connection is nothing more than a new pal.
Kardashian has been “hanging out” with Ravens wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., according to People. This development coincided with reports that OBJ had split from long-term partner Lauren Wood. A different source told TMZ that Kardashian and Beckham Jr. are purely platonic and met through common friends.
It’s also the first significant rumor concerning Kardashian’s dating life since her divorce from Pete Davidson in 2022. While the creator of SKIMS was linked to Tom Brady earlier this summer, there was never any substance to those allegations. The story was inspired by a single photograph of the two talking during Michael Rubin’s 4th of July White Party. Brady’s relationship with Irina Shayk was also revealed shortly after that. It’s always possible that things will improve between Kardashian and OBJ. We’ll keep you informed of any updates.

Kardashian hasn’t dated an athlete in a long time. Granted, she was married to Kanye West for a long time. She began dating the aforementioned Davidson after her divorce from West. However, prior to Kanye, Kardashian dated a number of athletes. Kardashian dated USC icon and former Saints running back Reggie Bush briefly in 2007. The couple’s relationship was documented in the early seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians. Kardashian also told People that Bush could be the one. Their busy commitments, however, put a strain on their relationship, and they split up in 2009. She rebounded with a Summer 2010 romance with then-Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin.

Her most famous athlete relationship is, of course, her 72-day marriage to former NBA player Kris Humphries. While they appeared to be a good pair prior to the wedding, too many disagreements caused the partnership to fail. Furthermore, Humphries would be the last guy Kardashian (publicly) dated before marrying Kanye. Only time will tell if OBJ is Kardashian’s next love interest or just a new pal she enjoys spending time with.
