Pete Davidson has shared details of his four years of ketamine use prior to entering rehab following yet another round of treatment.

On September 10, the comedian gave a speech to the audience as he was playing in Atlantic City, New Jersey, with fellow funny men Jon Stewart and John Mulaney.

People reports that the comedian opened out about his ketamine addiction and said he had been using the drug every day for four years while he was performing at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino’s Ettes Arena.

“I just got out of rehab, everyone,” he declared. I had that light after recovery. The seventh time is a charm.

Davidson continued by informing the audience that he had once “got The Wiggles to mesh with Schindler’s List,” demonstrating the drug’s mind-altering effects, and that using ketamine every day for four years had been “magical.”

The 29-year-old claimed to have been high during Aretha Franklin’s funeral in 2018 and expressed shock at having gone out in public while in such a state.

The comic continued by telling the audience that doing drugs in your 30s was “not cute anymore” and that if you did so, “you are just a drug addict.”

In June of this year, Davidson returned to treatment after discovering that he was having problems with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder.

Davidson, 29, “has a lot of people in his corner who love him and support him, and are proud of him,” according to a friend of his. The friend also claimed that Davidson “will always step up and get help when he knows he needs it.”

After relapsing on his sobriety, Davidson checked himself into the same institution as Mulaney. The 41-year-old comedian, who introduced himself before his performance as “a former amateur drug trafficker,” is buddies with the other comedian.

The 60-year-old Stewart made light of his own age when he joked at the end of the show, saying that the audience had just seen a whole cycle “from rehab to recovery to hospice.”

Jokes also circulated about him dragging two comedians who were in addiction treatment into a casino.

Davidson had already checked himself into treatment; he revealed going in February 2020. Years before to that, Davidson told Howard Stern that he checked himself out because “there was no way I could stop” doing drugs.

“Someone has to put me in a house where there is literally nothing,” he remarked. I had excessive access.”
