Symphony, an AI-powered marketing platform for musicians, has received a $1 million pre-seed investment. Here’s the most recent.

Spice Capital, GoldHouse Ventures, LVRN Records, Guin Records, and other music industry heavyweights invested in the fledgling company. The cash will be used to transform the marketing workflow for artists and the creatives that assist them, according to the business.

Symphony claims to want to democratize access to sophisticated marketing technologies, allowing indie musicians to use the same strong tools that industry heavyweights have long had. Symphony claims that since its beta launch in April 2022, it has processed over $750,000 in advertising expenses to enable artists nurtured by Integral Studio produce 150 million streams.

Integral Studio was created in 2016 by co-founders Megh Vakharia and Chuka Chase. That digital agency assisted musicians in monetizing their fans, and after creating an artist website for SZA, the two discovered how much they could aid artists.

“Artists are in control, and they finally have the power to build a career for themselves, without anyone taking a piece,” Symphony CEO Megh Vakharia says. “Our only goal with Symphony is to help the next million artists stay in control and build their businesses on their own terms.”

Forever Saves, for example, helps keep fans informed when their favorite musicians release new songs. When fans sign up for Forever Saves and agree to contribute data, their email address, name, location, and chosen streaming service are all passed along as data points. A ‘Meet the Fans’ page consolidates data in one location, allowing you to receive a comprehensive view of your fandom.

Symphony, according to Vahkaria, was developed on a foundation of decades of marketing knowledge while dealing with notable musicians such as SZA and 21 Savage. Its combination of services enables musicians to establish large fan networks in ways never previously possible.
