Pang’s narrative, a lesser-known part in the life of late Beatles vocalist John Lennon, took 50 years to tell on film. She describes her 18-month connection with John, which she managed herself. During this time, May assisted John in reuniting with his son Julian Lennon and witnessed firsthand his most productive post-Beatles period. This included albums like Mind Games and Walls and Bridges, as well as collaborations with David Bowie and Elton John. The film includes appearances by Julian Lennon, Mick Jagger, Alice Cooper, and Paul McCartney as May describes her first unforgettable love as a 23-year-old.
