Dallas Cowboys pass rusher Sam Williams has been arrested for the second time in a year… the 24-year-old was detained in Texas over the weekend, the second time cops have accused him of misconduct.

Williams was brought into custody on Sunday… and arrested on charges of possession of a controlled narcotic and unlawful carrying of a weapon, according to a Frisco Police Department spokesperson.

Further information about the arrest was not immediately available.

The 24-year-old had just played in the Cowboys’ preseason game against the Seahawks in Seattle on Saturday night… and he shone, recording a sack and two tackles. He was also spotted at Dallas’ training camp session on Tuesday, a day after the team had a day off on Monday.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, the Cowboys were aware of the arrest.

Williams was previously charged with a crime in December 2022, when authorities claimed he drove recklessly before collapsing his Corvette in Plano.

Williams, Dallas’ second-round pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, is projected to play a significant role for the Cowboys this season.
