Elon Musk’s biographer has published images of texts purportedly between the Tesla CEO and Mark Zuckerberg outlining their alleged feud.

As much as we’d all like to see the billionaires beat the crap out of each other, it appears that the much-touted fight between the two may not take place.

While Musk has stated that the fight will be live-streamed on his social media network, the word from Zuckerberg’s side is that the Twitter CEO has not been taken seriously.

The Facebook founder stated that he is not “holding his breath” for actual bout details to be agreed upon, and that he is seeking for a “real MMA fight.”

Text communications between the two showed that he pushed Musk to ‘decide you’re going to do this and do it soon’ and that if the 52-year-old wasn’t ready to do that ‘we should move on’.

Walter Isaacson, who is presently writing a biography of Elon Musk, released the words on Twitter as part of a screenshot of a text discussion between himself and his subject.

Musk appears to have forwarded across a portion of his conversation with Zuckerberg, with Isaacson responding ‘wow’ and Musk responding with a laughing face emoji.

Zuckerberg moved to Threads, one of his social media platforms, to claim that he proposed a date for the fight but Musk ‘won’t confirm a date,’ that the Twitter CEO’says he needs surgery,’ and that the offer to have a ‘practice round in my backyard’ was rejected.

He stated that he is “going to focus on competing with people who take the sport seriously,” implying that he believes Musk is all talk and no pants.

Musk has subsequently responded by referring to his potential opponent as a “chicken,” arguing that the Facebook founder couldn’t eat chicken “because that would be cannibalism.”

UFC president Dana White has stated that the fight could still take place, adding that they have discussed the prospect of staging it in the Colosseum with Italian officials.

White stated he ‘did have a meeting with the Minister of Culture’s team,’ despite the fact that no formal agreement had been reached.

He calculated that the battle of the billionaires could generate more than a billion dollars in income, and that ‘Trump would have to fight Putin’ to top such a show.

Now we have Zuckerberg claiming that Musk isn’t taking the fight seriously and that unless he does, it’s time to stop wasting time on it, while Musk says he wants to fight Zuckerberg in his own backyard.

This apparent bluster does not bode well for the possibility of the two stepping into the octagon for an actual bout; unless something changes, the fight appears to be off.
