Dave Portnoy commented on Taylor Swift’s Eras tour in a recent interview with A source.

The BFFs podcast presenter also discussed the feud between Kim Kardashian and her ex-husband Kanye West. Swift, according to Portnoy, should not allow Kim to attend her tour and should arrest her if she does. “If I were Taylor, I’d have security waiting at the door, handcuff her, and drag her to jail,” he told the site. “I’d be surprised if she didn’t [attend].” That is a very Kim move.”

“A lot of people don’t actually know the story, but they edited her phone call and called her a liar,” he said. “The phone call came out a few years later, and it backed up everything Taylor Swift said, so that was kind of what got me started on the Swiftie path.” “When everyone was crucifying her, I was like, ‘This is not right,'” Portnoy continued, “so now I’ve just grown to be a huge fan.” Kanye famously interrupted Swift’s acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. She received an award for Best Female Video, but Ye felt it should have gone to Beyonce. Since then, things have been strange between them.

Kanye later apologized, retracted it, and then the two appeared to be on good terms again. Kanye even stated in 2015 that they will be releasing a collaboration. However, in 2016, Kanye released “Famous,” which included a problematic statement regarding Swift. “I have a feeling me and Taylor are still having sex / Why?” In the song, he declares, “I made that b*tch famous.” He claimed to have had Swift’s clearance for the lyric, but her team rejects this.

Kim became involved in 2016 after many digs at each other. They had a recording of Swift agreeing to the statement, she alleged, which she later shared. Swift made the uncut recording public in 2020, saying that she never agreed to Ye referring to her as “that b*tch.” Swift’s release of the recording, according to Kim, was “self-serving.”
