Bryan Randall, Sandra Bullock's Partner, Died At The Age Of 57

Randall ‘went away peacefully following a three-year struggle with ALS,’ according to a family statement.

“It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS,” the emotive family statement said.

“Bryan made the decision early on to keep his ALS journey private, and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request.”

“We are eternally grateful to the tireless doctors who guided us through the maze of this illness, as well as the incredible nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours.”

“At this time, we request privacy to grieve and come to terms with the inability to say goodbye to Bryan.”

Bullock, 59, reportedly met the model-turned-photographer in January 2015, when he photographed her son Louis’ birthday.

Later that year, their romance became public as they were seen together at Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s wedding.

The Bird Box star, who has two children, Louis, 13, and Laila, 10, earlier told Red Table Talk that she had “found the love of my life.”

“We share two beautiful children—three children, [Randall’s] older daughter,” she remarked in 2021. It’s the most wonderful thing ever.

“I don’t want to say do it the way I do it, but I don’t need a paper to be a dedicated partner and mother.”

“I don’t need to be reminded to be present even in the darkest of times.” I don’t need to be reminded that I should ride out a storm with a wonderful man.”

She went on to remark that Randall is a terrific ‘example’ for her children.

“He’s the example I’d like my children to follow,” she remarked.

“I have a very Christian partner, and there are two ways of looking at things.”

“I am not always in agreement with him, and he is not always in agreement with me.” Even if I disagree with him, he is an example.”

“I’m stubborn, but every now and then I need to sit back and listen and say, ‘You’re saying it differently, but we mean exactly the same thing.'”

“It’s difficult for me to co-parent because I just want to do it myself.”

According to estimates, ALS is responsible for up to five deaths in every 100,000 people aged 20 and above in the United States.
