Zendaya has paid tribute to her Euphoria co-star Angus Cloud, who died at the age of 25.

The Spider-Man star expressed her grief for Cloud’s death, which was announced by his family yesterday (31 July).

Cloud’s cause of death has not yet been determined, however his publicist, Cait Bailey, stated that he died at his family home in Oakland.

“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” his family stated in a statement.

“Angus was special to all of us in so many ways as an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son… The only solace we have is that Angus has been reunited with his father, who was his best friend.

“Angus was open about his struggle with mental health, and we hope that his death will serve as a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this alone in silence.”

Cloud’s suicide occurred only a few months after the death of his father, a loss that Cloud had ‘intensely suffered’ with, according to his family.

Conor Angus Cloud Hickey, whose full name was Conor Angus Cloud Hickey, was most known for his role in Euphoria as heroin dealer Fezco “Fez” O’Neill, opposite Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, and Hunter Schafer.

Zendaya is one of the co-stars who have paid respect to Cloud in the aftermath of his passing.

“Words are not enough to describe the infinite beauty that is Angus (Conor),” she wrote with a photo of her co-star. I’m so thankful I got to know him in this life, to call him a brother, to see his warm compassionate eyes and brilliant grin, or to hear his contagious cackle of a laugh (it makes me smile just thinking about it).

“I know people use this expression a lot when talking about persons they care about…”They could light up any room they walked into,” but let me tell you, he was the best. That’s how I’d like to remember him. For all the unending light, love, and joy he always managed to bring us. I’ll treasure every minute.

“My heart is with his mother and family at this time, and please be kind and patient because grief looks different for everyone.”

Storm Reid, who plays Zendaya’s on-screen younger sister Gia Bennett on the show, said in a tribute, “The tears just won’t stop.”

Cloud had been cast in Euphoria for the first time.
