Tiffany Haddish has spoken out about her split from ex-boyfriend Common.

The 43-year-old actor and rapper dated the John Wick star for over a year and a half before splitting up in 2021.

The Night School actor described her relationship with Common, actual name Lonnie Lynn, as “the healthiest, the funnest relationship I’ve ever had” in a recent profile story published in The Washington Post.

“It’s where I felt the safest out of all the relationships I’ve ever had,” she continued.

Tiffany claims that the Silo actor, 51, began retreating from her and did not invite her to various gatherings, including his birthday celebration.

“It wasn’t mutual,” she said of the breakup, claiming Common dumped her over the phone. “It was more like him saying, ‘I think this relationship has run its course.'” ‘All right,’ I said. As if you’re going to be a 50-year-old single man. Okay?'”

The Girls Trip star went on to say that she is still open to future partnerships and would “love” to “experience” life with someone.

“But also, I guess I’ve been alone for so long,” she admitted. “And I’m so used to being abandoned that I’m expecting it.” Which is unfortunate, isn’t it?”

Tiffany formerly married William Stewart from 2008 to 2013.
