Owen Wilson was sad not to work on ‘Haunted Mansion’ alongside Jamie Lee Curtis.

The 54-year-old actor plays priest Kent in the new Disney film, although he lamented having to film his sequences separately from the ‘Halloween’ actress who plays the floating head in a crystal ball Madame Leota.

“Well, I don’t get to work with Jamie Lee Curtis very often,” Owen explained to ComicBook.com. That’s unfortunate.’

“But that was only made clear because we were doing some press the other day, and she has a lot of energy and is a formidable person.” I’m a little slower because I’m from Texas, and she’s… But I adore her vitality.

“It’s a fantastic cast.” I think one of the delights, hopefully, for people in seeing this movie is seeing the various renowned faces that come up.”

Despite losing out on working with Jamie, Owen was overjoyed to have the opportunity to share scenes with Danny DeVito, who plays historian Bruce in the film based on the Disneyland attraction.

“I couldn’t ask to be slapped by anyone better, more impressive, or great than Danny DeVito,” the ‘Wedding Crashers’ star remarked.
