Drake and Nicki Minaj have probably provided some of hip hop’s most infamous collaborations over the years.

Their synergy on the mic is evident, from Drake’s legendary Thank Me Later “Up All Night” through Take Care and “Make Me Proud.” We have not heard from the dynamic combo in several years, but Champagne Papi announced on one of his first It is All A Blur North American tour dates that the two will reconnect sooner than you think.

“I am going to give something off the album away in Detroit tonight, ‘cuz I got a lot of love for Detroit,” Drake told his Detroit audience on Saturday (July 8) night. “So Imma have to tell you, like, me and Nicki Minaj did our first song in like, a really long time,” he stated, to loud cheers and applause from the audience. “I have a lot of feelings for her.” The father of one did not provide any other information, but the Queen of Rap hailed the news on Twitter with a throwback photo of the Young Money members.
