Taylor Swift Takes Ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner Onstage During Her Eras Tour

Taylor Swift meant “Back To December” when she stated it.

The popstar stunned the audience at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on Friday night when she introduced her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner onstage as part of her sold-out “The Eras Tour.”

Along with the “Twilight” actor, who inspired her song “Back To December,” were actress Joey King and Presley Cash, who collaborated with the singer for her new music video for “I Can See You.”

The video, which stars all three actors, was released on Friday, and fans at the concert were the first to see it after Swift’s album “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)” was released earlier that day.

Lautner, who dated the singer in 2009, startled a sea of shouting fans when he made his way down the stage’s ramp with a cartwheel and backflip.

“He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the ‘Speak Now’ album, and I want to say that he did every single stunt you saw in that music video,” Swift said of Lautner. “He and his wife have become some of my closest friends, and it’s very convenient because we all share the same first name.”

“I respect you so much,” Lautner said in response to Swift’s kind sentiments. Not just for the singer, composer, or performer you are, but for the human you are. You are kind, humble, and kind, and I am privileged to know you.”

Swift took to social media after the event to share the good news with people who weren’t able to attend the reunion live.

“WELL. “SO,” she wrote, accompanied by a sequence of photos. “I’ve been counting down for months, and the ‘I Can See You’ video is finally here.” “I wrote this video treatment over a year ago because I really wanted to play out symbolically how it feels for me to have the fans helping me reclaim my music.”

“I had my heart set on Joey King, Taylor Lautner, and Presley Cash starring in it,” she went on to say. “Joey and Presley were in the video for ‘Mean’ when they were 9 and 13 years old, and now they’re back and they’re so outrageously bad ass!! Taytay Lautner is INCREDIBLE in this (no stunt double!) and a special thanks to Tay Lautner (his wife) for being so much fun to hang out with on set. “The Story of Three Taylors…”

“I’ve always wanted to direct fight scenes/a heist storyline,” she continued, “and had the most incredible time plotting this out with my incredible DP.” Sela, Jonathan. “I’m very proud of this one.”

Lautner took to Instagram after the show to share a photo of himself, his wife, and Swift all pointing at each other as they reproduced the famous Spider-Man meme.
