Crystal Hefner, Hugh Hefner’s wife, has made a career out of revealing everything, but her latest step is unlikely to satisfy her late husband.

Crystal, 37, intends to tell the world about the ‘toxic objectification and misogyny’ she encountered while living in the infamous Playboy Mansion.

Only Say Good Things, the memoirs of the Playboy model, will be released in January 2024.

Crystal rose to prominence in the mid-2000s after the ill playboy rescued her from obscurity at the age of 21.

They married in 2012, when Hefner was 86 years old.

They remained married until his death in 2017, at the age of 91.

Crystal told the Daily Mail about her impending book, “Since his passing, I have had to do a lot of self-discovery.”

“I had to figure out who I am without having it dictated to me.”

“Not only did I have to find my voice, but I also had to learn how to use it.”

“My book is a testament to the power of time, processing all that I have been through, and embracing my truth.”

The former model admitted that Hefner’s proposal surprised her, but she ‘could not comprehend’ turning it down.

“My relationship and marriage to Hugh Hefner was a very complicated one,” she stated of her late husband.

“It was one where, no matter how I was treated, I always felt like I had to protect him, which is why I have not shared my story until now.”

Crystal has spoken out against plastic surgery from her days as a pin-up girl, claiming that her breast implants poisoned her.

“I advocate for being natural since I got very ill and removed my implants and everything else toxic in my body in 2016,” she wrote on Instagram in 2021.

“I should have learned my lesson the first time,” she says, “but I guess the universe keeps sending you the same lesson until you learn it.”

Crystal is hardly the first Playboy Playmate to criticize Hefner.

Holly Madison, another late philanthropist’s girlfriend, claimed Hefner had a stockpile of sexual images to blackmail women with.

She alleges she only stayed with him because he was afraid he would disclose her images.

“When I lived at the mansion, I was afraid to leave,” Madison said.

“Something that was always lingering in the back of my mind, I think since the very beginning, was that if I left, there was just this mountain of revenge porn waiting to come out.”

Hefner passed away on September 27, 2017, at the age of 91, from sepsis caused by an illness.

He was buried beside Marilyn Monroe since he paid $75,000 for the crypt adjacent to her. In 2009, he remarked of the acquisition, “Spending eternity next to Marilyn is an opportunity too sweet to pass up.”
