Britney Spears was allegedly struck in the face Wednesday night by a member of a San Antonio Spurs player’s security crew.

According to TMZ, Victor Wembanyama’s security guard allegedly assaulted the pop artist, 41, at celebrity hotspot Catch inside the Aria Resort & Casino in Las Vegas around 8:30 p.m. local time.

According to the publication, Spears was a “fan” of the pro baller and approached him to get a photo with him.

Wembanyama, a 19-year-old Frenchman, was signed by the Spurs on June 22 at the 2023 NBA Draft.

On the same night as the incident, he was caught signing autographs for other fans.

According to the report, Spears “tapped him on his back, right shoulder,” and the security guy subsequently “backhanded her.”

She allegedly fell on the ground and had her spectacles knocked off.

According to TMZ, the “Toxic” singer went to her table to compose herself, and security later apologized.

“‘You understand how it is when you’re being swarmed by fans,'” he allegedly informed the music diva, to which she allegedly agreed.

TMZ got paparazzi video of Spears going quickly out of the restaurant later that evening, using a hoodie and sunglasses to cover her identity. Her husband, Sam Asghari, and her manager, Cade Hudson, looked to be with her.

According to reports, the Grammy winner filed a police case for battery, and an investigation is underway.
