Gabriel Iglesias, a comedian, said he was “happy to be alive” after his private jet made an emergency landing in a field.
In an Instagram post on Friday, the stand-up comedian disclosed that the private jet he was aboard had to make an emergency landing in North Carolina.
“It’s an emergency landing!!!” “Our private jet skidded off the runway and landed in a field in Andrews, (North) Carolina,” Gabriel captioned a video of the plane landing on the green area. “Everyone is fine but shocked. “I’m glad to be alive.”
He also expressed gratitude to the flight’s pilots for securing the passengers’ safety.
“Thank (you) to the pilots who did what they had to do to get us on the ground safely,” the comic said. “It could have been so much worse.” I’m grateful to be alive to see another day, and yes, I will fly tomorrow… just not on this plane.”
Gabriel updated fans on his continued flying travel on Saturday.
“New day, new jet,” he captioned another plane photo. “Of course, we were stressing out the entire flight after what (happened) yesterday, but we arrived in Mississippi safely… “The show has to go on!”
Gabriel has been touring the United States on his Don’t Worry Be Fluffy Tour.
