Christine Baumgartner, Kevin Costner’s estranged wife, is requesting excessive child support payments.

According to court records acquired by People on Wednesday, the designer, 49, wants the “Yellowstone” star, 68, to pay her $248,000 per month to help raise their three children: Cayden Wyatt, 16, Hayes Logan, 14, and Grace Avery, 13.

According to Baumgartner, the total asked is “less than the amount needed to maintain the children in their accustomed lifestyle.”

According to the story, she also wants Costner to pay for their children’s private school tuition, extracurricular activities, sports, and health care.

Baumgartner’s filing on Friday resulted in the release of her estranged husband’s most current financial data.

According to People, Costner earned more than $19 million in 2022, and his family’s spending included caterers and chefs for entertaining, as well as trips to the Caribbean, Hawaii, and Aspen. After taxes, his net income was allegedly $7,595,520.

In court filings acquired by Page Six, the “Field of Dreams” star previously stated that he did not want his financial details made public for fear of “irreparable harm” from scammers, burglars, and “unwanted and embarrassing global media attention.”

Costner’s attorney did not respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Baumgartner’s child support request right away.

The “Bodyguard” star has been embroiled in a court battle with his estranged wife since she filed for divorce after 18 years of marriage in May.

Costner has accused Baumgartner of spending $95,000 of his money on attorneys and a forensic accountant throughout the proceedings “without prior notice” to him.

He also reportedly chastised the mother of three for refusing to leave their $145 million property in Carpinteria, Calif., despite the fact that the couple had a prenuptial agreement.

The contract states that Baumgartner would have 30 days to abandon the premises and that she would be given a $1.2 million property to reside in after the divorce.

However, the handbag designer has reportedly maintained that Costner has “no legal basis” to push her out and has used the children to her advantage, claiming via her counsel that the home is where “the children have lived for their entire lives.”

The one area where the ex-couple appears to have found common ground is child custody, which Baumgartner has asked for as “joint.” She also does not seek spousal support.
