Garth Brooks has been urged by Rob Schneider not to respond to criticism regarding his impending bar.
The Hot Chick actor addressed the reaction the country artist got after admitting his as-yet-unopened Nashville club would offer Bud Light beer in an interview with Fox News Digital released on Monday.
Since transgender sensation Dylan Mulvaney debuted in a social media promotion for the product in April, Anheuser-Busch officials have seen a drop in Bud Light sales and a boycott from some conservative commentators and celebrities.
“I think he’ll stay out of it next time.” Is he not?” According to Rob. “I think Garth Brooks will shut up next time and pretend like ‘I don’t have anything to do with what beer is chosen in my restaurant.'”
“I believe the culture is in a strange state of hypersensitivity in one way or another. And I believe that is why most people keep their tongues quiet. Just shut up and pretend you have nothing to do with it from a business standpoint.”
Friends In Low Places Bar & Honky Tonk, a country singer’s bar, is set to debut later this year. Garth previously informed fans that “every brand of beer” would be available at the venue.
Garth reaffirmed his plan to sell the contentious brand after his statements sparked outrage.
“Everyone has an opinion.” “However, inclusiveness will always be a part of me,” he stated on his Inside Studio G broadcast. “I believe that diversity is the answer to the problems that exist today as well as the problems that will arise in the future.” So I appreciate variety. Because it is all-inclusive, everyone is welcome. I understand it may not be everyone’s opinion, but that’s fine, man.”
